Hi or Hola! I’m Stanley Senior — an amateur adventure travel photographer, professional blogger, and digital nomad. My work and Degreed professional experience was varied but mostly in Marketing, Transportation (as a tour driver), Real Estate and Hospitality amongst a myriad of other jobs and experiences that contribute to my overall experiences which has involved travel in one way or another. There’s still more to do.

Since 2018, I’ve been living a dream that many only fantasize about: traveling the world and experiencing life’s boundless opportunities. From the highways of California, in my Chevy Roadtrek, to the cobblestone streets of Europe, my journey has been a blend of adventure, self-discovery, and connection.

As a United States Air Force veteran, I’ve had the unique freedom to embark on these travels while also providing consulting advice for those navigating disability claims. This Blog offers Travel Tips and Advice for single men, women, couple’s, seniors, veterans and retirees looking for inspiration in travel, dating, and spiritual awakening.

Total Nomadic Lifestyle

This nomadic travel lifestyle is not for everyone. Patience and flexibility are big keys to successful adventures. Travel doesn’t always have to be international or exotic, you can practice in your own city. Just go visit a nearby town for a weekend exploration. Get a hotel, visit the downtown areas, city hall, the local parks and maybe catch a weekend festival.

A successful travel strategy blends careful planning with the freedom to embrace the unexpected. I always start by researching destinations, considering factors like climate, safety, and cultural experiences. For road trips, I plan key stops but allow flexibility for detours and spontaneous discoveries. When traveling internationally, I prioritize direct flights when possible, using a combination of search engines Google Flights and Skyscanner as favorites and book accommodations that balance comfort and affordability—often VRBO or Boutique hotels. Having a financial cushion and a backup plan ensures peace of mind, especially when navigating different time zones, languages, or travel disruptions. Most importantly, I maintain an open mindset, knowing that the best experiences often come from unplanned moments and unexpected connections. For things to do and tours, I receive no compensation at this time, I like to start with and have had success with the TripAdvisor app.

My trips from my point of view and through my eyes. Stories and pictures that try to catch an essence.

Living full-time in a Chevrolet Roadtrek RV taught me the art of adapting. From parking in urban centers to managing utilities on the go, it was a lesson in efficiency. In cities like San Francisco, San Diego, Portland, and Seattle, I explored cultural landmarks, met fascinating people, and learned to navigate urban living from my mobile base.
